Sorry, I was subscribed to the list with my old account and I missed this
message. @Francesco Potortì <Potorti at isti.cnr.it> , thanks for letting me
know this.

The initial position is provided within the EvAALAPI. When you check the
state of the trial you get this information.

The return code is the trial state, whose meaning is:
{'trialts': 0.0, 'rem': -1.0, 'V': 3.0, 'S': 15.0, 'p': 0.0, 'h': 0.0,
'pts': 0.0, 'pos': '10.422057;43.718278;1'}

'trialts' is 0, because the trial has not started, and in fact 'rem' is -1,
meaning that the trial has not started yet and 'pos' is set to the initial
position

This pos is the initial position, could you confirm me that you are
obtaining this information about the initial position in the testing trials?

Dear organizers,

A new feature in 2024 is that the starting point of a scoring trial will be
known.

We understand that this information will be provided via a POSI event.

However, we are wondering if it can be assumed that the POSI event will be
the very first event in the Scoring Trial, or if there will be a relevant
amount of other events before?

It would be nice if you could clarify this.
