Our team has long been engaged in research related to indoor positioning and pedestrian navigation technologies. The team's instructor is Professor Xiong Zhi, and the team members are: Li Xiaodong, Cui Yan, Ding Yiming, Chen Zhixin, Sun Yinhui, and Wang Zhengchun. The core of our algorithm is the strap-down inertial navigation algorithm. On this basis, a zero- velocity detection method with adaptive threshold setting is used to adapt to different motions. In other word, an improved adaptive threshold is used instead of the fixed threshold method to detect the stance-phase in each gait cycle. The adaptive threshold method is adaptable to different gait frequencies in dynamic motion.
